My name is Omar Perez, originally from Broward County, Florida. I got my start in the tattoo world many years ago at 19 when my mentor, Stig.ink took me under his wing and introduced me to both the craft and the business behind the industry. That experience opened my eyes to what really goes on behind the scenes, and it stuck with me.

Before creating SBN, I was working in a tattoo shop in Boca Raton alongside a close friend of mine, Millzarte. We spent countless hours talking about building something of our own, he wanted to open a tattoo studio, and I was set on creating a supply company. Not long after, we both followed through on that vision. He went on to build LongTheFaceWhy Studios, and I put everything I had into starting SBN.

What pushed me to take that leap was simple: I saw too many big companies selling average-quality cartridges at premium prices. At the very same time, I became obsessed with needle technology—how it works, how it feels, and how it could be better. I knew I could create something that actually met the standards artists deserve, and so we did. 

SBN was built from the ground up through long nights of designing, testing, and refining. After developing dozens of cartridge variations with a team of engineers and medical scientists, we finally landed on what I knew was the right product. We launched through pre-sales and pop-ups across Florida and the eastern U.S.—and every single time, we sold out. That early support gave us the momentum and backing to grow far beyond what we initially expected.

Today, SBN needles are known for performance you can feel. From bugpin liners praised for their sharpness and precision to round mags loved for their smooth, soft shading—every cartridge is engineered to perform at the highest level throughout the entire session.

The goal has always been simple: give artists top-tier equipment without the inflated prices or compromises in quality.
